Saman Sajedi is a West Asian archaeologist and glyptic specialist. He has first-hand experience excavating and working with seals and sealings in Iraq. As a PhD candidate, his research focuses on the iconography of horned headdresses from the 4th and 3rd millennia BCE on seals and sealings from Mesopotamia, Syria, and Iran. He is currently a researcher on the KIŠIB team in Munich.
