Prof. Dr. Elisa Roßberger is an archaeologist specializing in the visual culture of ancient West Asia and in digital methods for the analysis of imagery. Her research focuses on cylinder seals and their impressions, Linked Open Data, and semantic annotation of ancient imagery. She leads the KIŠIB project and holds the tenure track professorship for Explorative Visual Archaeology of the Ancient Near East at Freie Universität Berlin.
